I’m Cristy Zinn, a freelance children’s book illustrator and author from South Africa. Despite never studying art in my life, I find myself many years into my art career and constantly grateful for having found my dream job late in life. Drawing all day long? Yes, thank you.
Though my focus is children’s books (both fiction and non-fiction) I also illustrate for children’s brands and my own small product range.
I draw digitally and love to experiment with colour palettes and pencil crayon like brushes.
I live in bright and sunny Durban with my husband and two teenagers.
