Emanuele Ragnisco was born in Rome on May 24th, 1970.
He started his university career studying Architecture but then decided to follow his real passion and attended IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), from which he graduated with distinction. In 1993, Emanuele founded his design studio called MekkanoGrafici Associati, taking the role of Artistic Director.
MekkanoGrafici Associati is specialised in book design and it collaborates with Italian and International publishers such as edizioni e/o, Editori Laterza, Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, Il fatto quotidiano, Paesi edizionl, Europe editions, UK editions.
In addition to running MekkanoGrafici Associati, Emanuele Ragnisco has taught several courses at the Montessori Schools associations, the Maria Montessori Primary School in Rome, The CSC (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) and the Architecture department of La Sapienza University.
To date, Emanuele has designed over 2500 covers of different books, including international bestseller like Elena Ferrante’s novels.
