Family is about love

Let’s normalize the idea that every family is unique, and that’s what makes it special. Some children may have two moms, two dads, just one parent, or live with extended family. Some may have parents or siblings who look different from them.

Let’s celebrate love as what defines a family, and teach our kids that their friend’s family may look different from their own – and that’s totally okay and healthy. Because embracing diversity makes us better humans. Because raising children who value and respect each other’s differences means creating a generation of sensitive and conscious adults.
